Hi Loves!
Now, to be honest, I have no real idea where to start with this whole blogging thing. So, naturally, I googled EVERYTHING. Over the next few weeks, I will be building this blog in an attempt to break into the unbelievably saturated market of fashion and lifestyle bloggers.
I created this blog because I was looking for a passion project. By day I work in mortgage banking. I love what I do because I get to help people build solid financial futures for themselves, but I just don’t have the ability to be creative in my daily life.
Enter: FASHION!
I worked in retail all through college, and I honestly love it. There was nothing more rewarding than having a client come into the store and being able to style them in a look that felt authentic to them. The right clothes have a way of helping women feel like the radiant person they are and I love helping women find that.
My other motivation for creating this blog was to reach a community I feel incredibly connected with: those with chronic and debilitating disabilities. From the moment I came into this world, my DNA has been a touch different. My body’s inability to produce and maintain the protein collagen (found in EVERY cell of your body!) forces me to do things a bit differently. unfortunately, there is no treatment for my condition, and research is few and far between. So over my lifetime, I’ve developed some tricks to living with a chronic condition. I hope this blog can serve as a platform for people with disabilities, both visible and invisible. Both to connect those who deal with these maladies and to spread understanding to those who don’t.
So, here we go. I’m jumping in headfirst and I truly hope I can produce a beautiful, helpful and unique blog for you, my visitors to enjoy.
